More Breadcrumbs

One of my primary concepts is to scatter breadcrumbs online everywhere I can. Think about this, if you wanted to catch some birds (this is just an analogy) would you run through a field waving a blanket in the air to knock one down, or scatter some breadcrumbs in a corner and wait for them to come around?

It sure has worked for me and continues to work every day. I have one video I posted over three years ago that is still bringing in contacts on YouTube and I have a lot more experience now than when I first joined and posted that one. It’s a breadcrumb paradise.

The plan I have is to find as many other people interested in making money online and invite them as friends as well as subscribe to their channel. Of course the natural reaction is for them to check out my channel, where I have links to my ventures mixed in with valuable tutorials I made.

Then go about leaving good comments wherever you can, being selective toward people you want to notice you. In just a few minutes a day, you can add several comments that serve as breadcrumbs and check out a few new potential contacts. The good part is, I get more personal comments back than I ever did on Twitter if you factor in the effort expended.

Lead, Follow or Move Aside

Nothing I am doing is earth shaking, but has served me well and boils down to a few basic concepts. I have learned over the years that everything you try does NOT need to be a success to add value. In fact, if you try 10 things and lose $100 on each one, then find something that pays $1,000 a month for a few months, is that not a jackpot?

The other main concept I try to follow is get out in front. If you can teach someone ONE thing they didn’t know, you can be perceived as a leader and cultivate a following. In Alaska they say, “If you’re not the lead dog, the view is always the same”.

So it all comes down to do something, even if it’s wrong. Like a ship at sea, you course can always be corrected once you are underway, but spinning the wheel while you are tied up at the dock is not going to do much good.

So that’s how I make my millions and I bet the same concepts would go a long way toward helping anyone who wants to add to their online income. Don’t push and shove, just lead the way.
